Last week we traveled to Colombia to take part in the +ISP Summit 2025, the event that brought together the key players from information and communications technology (ICT) companies both from that country and the region “with the aim of turning internet service providers (ISPs) into connectivity giants,” offering three days of learning, innovation, and networking with industry leaders.
The event was organized by the Colombian Association of Internet Service Providers (NAISP) and featured the participation of experts, manufacturers, suppliers, and authorities to discuss connectivity, technological innovation, and the future of the ICT sector.
Over the three days of activities, talks, and conferences, without a doubt the panel that had the greatest impact was the one that brought together some of the candidates for the presidency of Colombia in the 2026 elections, in which three of those poised to seek the country’s highest office debated The telecommunications industry on the agenda of the upcoming elections. They were Dr. Mauricio Lizcano, former Minister of Information and Communications Technologies of Colombia; Dr. Paloma Valencia, current national senator; and also senator Dr. María José Pizarro.
Next, our commercial manager Francisco Franchini presented together with Andrés Gentil, CEO of Miria Solutions, on How to improve customer service for Internet services users, with a special focus on innovation and real results in the Customer experience.
