Through the actions of our CSR area, we have collaborated with companies seeking to achieve carbon neutrality.
Every year-end it is a good habit to make a balance not only of the objectives achieved at the organizational level, but also of the so-called hidden achievements, those that have to do with certain activities that the company carries out in a silent way and that perhaps do not have the disclosure they deserve.
Therefore, at Meerkat we felt that this beginning of 2023 is a good opportunity to share some of our achievements, which in this case have to do with our commitment to the community.
In April last year, we set out to contribute to certain causes related to the preservation of the environment and to several actions aimed at reducing or eliminating carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, as we believe that greenhouse gasses are not only harmful to all of us, but also endanger the future of the planet.
That is why, through collaborations with new companies dedicated to carbon elimination, we are helping them to achieve significant progress. Some of them are Charm Industrial, Travertine and Mission Zero Technologies (we share their stories here) that produce synthetic fuels, fertilizers, chemicals and other products from the use of not only organic waste but also CO2 from the atmosphere.
We believe that if we all commit to change, it is possible, and that is why we wanted to share it and invite you to join this type of initiative.
