The 15th WISPMX Caravan, held last week in Oaxaca, showcased both qualitative and quantitative advancements.
Last week, we were in Oaxaca, Mexico, attending the 15th WISPMX Caravan—the first major event of the year for the Internet and related industries—organized by the country’s National Association of Wireless Internet Providers (WISP).
The event, which took place on Thursday and Friday at the Hotel Misión de los Ángeles, stood out for its clear qualitative and quantitative growth. It was a space filled with innovation, transformative ideas, and business opportunities aimed at enhancing ISP operations.
Beyond the traditional product presentations, the event featured various talks. Topics included efficient network control, effective ISP management and administration, the evolution of connectivity, and how the future of ISPs balances efficiency and scalability, among others.
Representing Meerkat, our executive Francisco Franchini (photo) delivered an insightful presentation emphasizing that technology doesn’t replace humans but rather assists them.
